Physical Therapy

Is pain ruining your life? Are you worn down by your body not working at its best?

If you’re experiencing pain, injury or suffering from a chronic condition Orla Foley can really help you return to balance and wellbeing. Take action now rather than later and be a step closer returning to full health.

Sports injuries, back pain, neck and whiplash problems, shoulder problems, knee pain, hip pain, stress related conditions, tension headaches, overuse injuries and joint strains can and do hold you back from being healthier, stronger and more active.

With the help of a physiotherapist, it is possible to reclaim your pain-free, healthy lifestyle, and get back to doing the activities you love.

Physical Therapy is a natural, safe form of treatment that has many approaches including myofasical techniques (what does this mean?), gentle mobilisations and stretches. For many, it provides a drug and surgery free solution to long-standing pain including back pain and muscle related problems. It is a hands on approach that ranges from trigger point release to home exercises. Physical therapy works in conjunction with conventional medical treatment and is based on the principles of anatomy and physiology. You’ll be working with Orla Foley who is a CORU registered Physiotherapist and a member Irish Association of Physical Therapists. Do you want to be free of pain? Just call or text 087 6644140 or use the online booking system here.

Your first Physical Therapy consultation begins with a complete history taking and assessment to identify the problem areas and causes. The number of treatments required will depend on many factors:

  • the condition itself
  • the length of the time the problem exists and
  • your individual reaction to the treatment

Often the initial treatment is followed by some discomfort, but this is generally a sign of progress. As part of the comprehensive treatment, you may be shown exercises to speed recovery and prevent recurrence. You’ll also be advised of alterations you could make to your lifestyle and precautions to be taken to remain pain-free.

If you suffer sports injuries, back pain, neck and whiplash problems, shoulder problems, knee pain, hip pain, stress related conditions, tension headaches, overuse injuries  and joint strains physiotherapy can help you.

Physical Therapy can be used more importantly as a preventative measure and save you from issues and pain later on.

Client Testimonial

Kincora Therapy was a very professional and relieving experience. I have found Orla very educational on all matters and would recommend her services. She shows willingness in treating not only the immediate problem but to get to the root of all other underlying and related problems.
