If you’re tired of sports physio sessions feeling like a grueling hour of torture, come to me, and I can provide a more gentle approach to help you. However, if you prefer the traditional “no pain, no gain” mantra of sports physiotherapy and are willing to endure a challenging session, that can also be accommodated, although I don’t necessarily recommend this approach. One of my favourite lecturers who was a leading Sports Injuries Physical Therapist embedded the mantra, No Pain, No Gain, No Brain at the beginning of my Sports physio studies and I have learnt many techniques that are effective, gentle, and safe and help you to heal rapidly from your sports injury.
Initially, I set up my Sports Physio practice as a Sports Injuries Physical Therapy clinic and worked as a sports physiotherapist with Clare hurling teams and Tipperary Hurling Teams from club to county level. It was a privilege to work for a few wonderful seasons with the Munster Rugby Junior team as their sports physical therapist. As part of my Sports Performance Master in 2013 I studied Endurance, Speed, Sports Nutritions, Teams, Sport Psychology, Strength and Conditioning. In 2020 I became a member of the Triathlon Ireland Coaching team and had the privilege of being part of the Irish Paratriathlon Team for that year. I am here to help you with whatever your sporting needs are. Book now, to return from your sports injuries in full fitness and wellness.

Client Testimonial
After a 24 foot fall at work, I contacted the Kincora Therapy, with back pain and problems. From other sporting injuries in the past I knew some fairly serious damage had been done. The pain relief after just 1 session with Orla was worth a million dollars, with 2 more sessions and some exercises and good advice, I’ve had no problems since. I would highly recommend the Kincora Therapy Centre (I know I’ve been to a few others) and again, thank you Orla.

Orla greatly helped my journey as from an amateur rugby player to one of Ireland first professional rugby players. Some of her gentle sports injuries techniques had me sceptical initially yet they proved to be some of most effective methods for my sports injuries. You may think I am biased as her brother yet I was most critical and yes her approach works.
